Win 95-98 Has lots of little secrets and shortcuts that some don't find until they've spent many long hours using the operating system, or when they've inadvertently clicked the wrong mouse button!

Let's talk about the Right Mouse Button..

    For those of you who have used it..the right mouse button is a wealth of context sensitive menus, establishing shortcuts to files, or running your virus software on a newly installed program! But for those of you who've never explored it...let's talk!

at left you will see what I get..and you should too.when I right click on an EMPTY SPACE on my desktop...

    Active Desktop-is a feature of Win98.. I love it ..and use it all the time..with it I can activate a Stock ticker on my desktop (much the same as the one on the RSOTW Stock Page..(if you don't have win98 you won't see it, but it's really NEAT! I put in my favorite stocks and watch the ticker go by..see Microsoft's Web site using Win98 page for directions on how to ad the stock ticker and other great additions to your collection of tools for your computer.

Arrange Icons-Will arrange your icons on your desktop or wherever you are when you click it.

Line up Icons-self described

Refresh-this will refresh (or bring your    desktop up anew-try it)

 Paste-will paste or place anything which   you have copied or cut from another location..best for another lesson.

Undo Rename-will undo something which you have recently renamed.

 New-one of my favorites for Making Folders and New Shortcuts on my     Desktop.

Properties-Fantastic diagnostic tool try it on any items on your desktop--just right click on any item on your desktop and go to Properties!
